The Adventures of Kasey & Kai :-)

So Today I woke up early this morning so I could get ready to go babysit two of the best kid's ever! I decided it would be fun to document my day with them and blog about it :)
So here is the picture I took before heading out the door-
It made me happy that they were so excited to see me when I walked in!
*~KASEY~* 10
**KAI** 6

First things were slow and they just wanted to watch T.V. It wasn't just any kind of regular kid show. Kasey and Kai were watching this guy catch GIANT anaconda snakes with his bare hands while walking in bat poop. While they were yelling "Cool!" I gritted my teeth. Surprisingly I made it through without screaming OR throwing up.
Afterwards, I told them that I had treats in my purse for them that they would get a little later. Natalie (Their mom) called about work and when I turned around Kai had my purse and found the M&M's. Before I knew it he was running away from me thinking it was the best thing ever while I chased him.
When he was captured, I gave them their little snack bags of M&M's. I thought they would eat them..you know, like you usually do when your handed a bunch of M&M's, but they announced that they were going to make M&M art :)
I was pleasantly surprised when Kasey asked my favorite colors and started making my name too! :) It was really cute! A little while later while they were still making their art..I asked what kind of music they liked and what they didn't like and Kai mentioned hating someone and to my horror this was who it was.-
And my reaction was-
FLABBERGASTED.
I have never met two kids as young as them that have that strong of an opinion about Justin Bieber! Especially a bad one haha
Our day commenced as we played "Shrek" operation which made me jump everytime I made the buzzer go off, Rodeopoly (rodeo version of Monopoly), and played outside. Kasey, who is very intelligent, and strong willed told me that once she filled up the kiddie pool, I was going to stick my feet in with her...so we did just that!It was hillarious watching their dog (NOVA)playing in the Spongebob sprinkler-
Soon we went inside and they got dried off :)After I made them lunch I got a call from Natalie and she was getting off work early so I left around 12:30 p.m. I love babysitting these kids so much!! Pretty soon I won't be able to watch them as often because I will be working somewhere else, but I told Natalie to call me Whenever her and Shane needed a date night and I would be there :)
I hope she does because I  love these kids with all of my heart and I miss them after a while! <3 Babysitting Kasey and Kai is like putting my hand in a jar and pulling out endless adventures, fun, and contagious laughter. Being able to be around these kids makes me so excited to have children of my own someday so we can have our own adventures together as a family :)
As for Kasey and Kai, they make me smile ear to ear and babysitting them has been less like a job and more like something I love to do...they are definetly worth getting up early for :)

So many exciting things ahead of me! :-)

There are moments throughout our lives that cause us to be "forever changed." It starts with simple things like your first steps and then grows to bigger things like watching your children take his or her first steps. There have been many times in my life that have caused me to be "forever changed." Meeting Anthony was one of them and then it lead to him leaving and me graduating from High school. Now I'm starting College in January!! I know its a little ways away, but today was a huge step for this transition in my life to start forever changing the world around me! This step happened to be........***Drumroll***....GETTING MY STUDENT "I" CARD!! Getting my "I" card finalized the fact that I am now officially a student at BYUI! Its so crazy to think that I'm starting college soon and moving out on my own :) It helps to know that I will be living with 5 AMAZING girls that I love so much and that I have been blessed with a wonderful family that loves and supports me! Today was a big day for me and I am really excited to start school :) Plus..when I start, Anthony will only have 6 months left! I am one happy girl! My student card is definetly a prized possesion right now!!

My VERY special SD Card!!

While at Anthony's Grandparent's/ the people I love with all of my heart, I picked up some SD cards that Anthony had sent for us to look through. As soon as I got home I stuck one of the Cards in my Laptop and my stomach buzzed with the excitement of what I would find. I was overfilled with joy as I looked through hundreds of pictures taken of Anthony, his companions, and the families he has taught.

I didn't think I could be any happier until I found
a video of him dancing around someone's living room doing the Carlton Dance :) I found another video of him doing the same thing, but it's how he was interacting with the little boy;  It reminded me of the first time I saw him playing with my cousin Paisley. I have always loved how he interacts with children, he is going to be an amazing father someday :)
Anthony has done his Carlton dance for forever and it has always brought a smile to my face these past three years. Its funny how you don't realize how much you've missed something until you see it again. I've missed his little dance so much because its a part of who he is and its one of the many reasons why he makes me laugh! It doesn't matter what kind of day I could be having, he always finds a way to make me laugh so hard my stomach hurts :)  Another thing he has always done is send me flowers after a hard day. Now he sends me flowers after special occasions or to tell me he loves me from so far away; He sent me these on Saturday :)

Something we have always loved are sunsets :) Our first date was watching the sun set by a beautiful waterfall as we danced in the snow until our toes were frozen haha during that sunset was when we started falling for eachother. Ever since then, sunsets have been very special to the both of us. they are what connects us together even though we are so far apart... While scrolling through more pictures, I almost cried as I saw dozens of pictures that were taken of beautiful sunsets....

Every time I see or watch the sun set, I think of him and feel more connected to him...its so special to know he feels the same way. Some nights we would watch the stars and that too, connects us together but that is a little more difficult to take a picture of.

This SD card meant so much to me :) The little things in life are so special, and to me and Anthony's relationship, they are everything and more. The video's and pictures he sent are such a blessing and have made this journey even more beautiful! Only 9 months left until I get to see his handsome face and feel the safety and love of his arms around me for eternity :)
